Henry Morrison GRANDSTAFF, 80, a resident of Veedersburg for most of his life, died June 8, 1962 in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elijah Bentley in Crawfordsville. He was born March 14, 1882, in Franklin the son of Nicholas and Lydia Grandstaff. In 1906 he married Leota Ellen Keaney. He was a meat cutter all his life and moved to Crawfordsville from Veedersburg 5 years ago. He is survived by 3 sons; Dee; Noel and Orville; 4 daughters; Mrs. Bentley; Mrs. Lydia Atkinson; Mrs. Hildred Dobbies; Mrs. Clara Dean Bowman; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Hybarger; 25 grandchildren 14 greats. He was preceded in death by 4 children. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery -- typed by kbz.
